All Wireless & Prepaid Expo Hosts Twelfth Expo in Las Vegas

New Year, New Branding, New Board

LAS VEGAS, NV (June 1, 2019) All Wireless & Prepaid Expo, formerly The Prepaid Expo, and the largest combined show for the prepaid wireless and services industry, will be held at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, August 20-21. Robin Tobias, President of the Expo, which is now in its twelfth year, said “This is the one event that brings together service providers, manufacturers, distributors and retailers of all wireless products and services, with a focus on the prepaid sector.”

The Repair Show, sponsored by Wireless Dealer Magazine, and IoT World Expo, are events that have been integrated into the show floor, adding new dimensions and new revenue streams for all show participants. Tobias also announced that for the first time a VIP Retailer Program will offer qualified wireless retailers free admission to the show and conference. Tobias said this was to encourage retailers’ participation, since they are a key element in the distribution of products and services.

The newly established All Wireless & Prepaid Expo Advisory Board has guided much of the change. Advisory Board members include C-Level Execs from all facets of the wireless and prepaid industries. The Board is chaired by Bob Lafon, Director of Mobility, Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations and includes Logan Abbott, President, Wirefly/Prepaid Phone News; Sean Cleland, Director, Mobile/Wireless Division, B-Stock Solutions; Emilio Del Rio, VP, IDT Corporation; Ramin Heydari, CEO, XYZies; Shay Kripalani, CEO, Injured Gadgets; Pete Pattullo, CEO, NetworkIP and Adam Wolf, President, National Wireless Independent Dealer Assocation (NWIDA). Gene Retske, Co-Founder of AWPE and Conference Director, serves as the Organizer.

“Wireless is now a mature industry, and like most mature industries, is sprouting numerous new segments,” says Chairman Lafon. “These young companies need to attend conferences, thought-leader panel discussions, network, and increase their market exposure. They also need a trade show that is geared more toward them and at the same time is affordable. For those reasons, I have enthusiastically offered my time and expertise to help lead this diverse board of emerging companies."

Retske adds, “This industry is undergoing a massive change in the way business is done, how channels operate, the underlying technology and the applications that will be needed. We have created an Advisory Board of industry leaders from all corners of the industry to partner with us in making the All Wireless & Prepaid Expo the focal point of the industry. This year’s Expo will be an event that everyone will want to attend.”
